Situated in the Central Highlands of Victoria, Morningswood Farm is set on an ex-pine plantation located on the Midland Highway in Eganstown, 5km west of Daylesford.
Whilst our main crop is strawberries we also have a variety of berries available for sale throughout the summer months as well as produce in our farm shop.

Our farm focus is more than just organic berries
Soil
We are passionate about continuous soil improvement and have applied over 170 tonnes of manure and organic matter to our berries patches. We continuously learn and improve our practices so that we can continue to build the health of our soil
Organics
The proof is in the pudding as far as we’re concerned. Our farm is completely spray free with no chemical fertilsers or other nasties being applied. Growing the berries in good soil gives them the best chance to develop full sweet flavours. In 2020 our strawberries received a ‘delicious.’ award.
Sustainability
Sustainability is our greatest driving force. Our punnets are made from reclaimed veneer and are completely compostable or reusable. The weed matting that is used in the rows is reused again and again and we cover it with mulch so as to prolong its life. Reducing our impact is always at the fore front of our practice.
U-Pick
Our strawberry season (usually) commences early December, continuing on through March.
Picking days are currently Saturday, Sunday and Public Holidays.
Special holiday opening hours, 18th Dec – 2nd Jan, excluding Christmas Eve and Christmas Day
Picking is dependent on fruit availability and weather.
